Great hotel. Room we stayed in was huge, spotless and very clean. The
bathroom was huge and spotless. The breakfast buffet was fantastic,
with an excellent variety of fuits and other staples. The staff were
helpful and very friendly. If you decide to stay here, there is a
reastaurant around the corner with a waiter named Nikko, he'll take
care of

Rooms were well appointed and everything worked. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.

Trully friendly manager and receptionists. Courtesy van brough us from the port to the hotel and back. Luggage brought to the room and all facilities pointed out to us. Superb room and services. All staff in the hotel were amazingly helpful. Their knowledge of the local area was really useful. The hotel is in a great location for historical sites. Great location for Eolian islands cruises. Stayed in triple room (suite) and it was very spacious. Bathroom very nice. We didn't had breakfast included, but we had dinner one evening. The service was very good and the food delicious.

Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh.
Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

We were upgraded to a suite for the room price, the chef cooked to order for us on two occasions, the meals were delightful. The staff were very friendly and helpful - The Spa like attitude of the hoteland the way it was set up.The resturant was excellant.

We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

The location is perfect if you want to be in the center of all the
historical sites. From our hotel room, we could see the beautiful cupola
of the church next door. The swimming pool/spa is beautiful and the
best feature of the hotel. The restaurant is located in an quaint
courtyard. Breakfast was nice but dinner at the restaurant was
outstanding!

This hotel has been beautifully architected within a historically
important building. We stayed 4 nights and the staff were very helpful,
and were particularly obliging when we wanted to change our room
(personal reasons) - they really wanted to ensure that we were happy.
Breakfasts were excellent. Location is also excellent with ease of
access to the historical sites.

Pools fantastic Rooms large Very helpful staff, in particular Monica.
Courtyard with fountain and poolside area very nice with ample seating.
Nicely furnished with oceans of space for clothes, even in the smaller
of the two rooms. The large room had a sofa and coffee table making it
very homely. Location near to Segesta, relatively near to Palermo

Monreale and the coast, including the nature reserves made it an
excellent choice for culture, nature and sea. -
We had a very short one night stay but the location is great with easy access to many interesting archeological sites and local points of interest. We would hapily return in the future.
