Great hotel. Room we stayed in was huge, spotless and very clean. The
bathroom was huge and spotless. The breakfast buffet was fantastic,
with an excellent variety of fuits and other staples. The staff were
helpful and very friendly. If you decide to stay here, there is a
reastaurant around the corner with a waiter named Nikko, he'll take
care of

Rooms were well appointed and everything worked. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.

Our room was of agood size. - wonderful place, very nice staff, nice breakfast (dispite the coffee), nice dinner, nice room, very nice garden with all kinds of fruit trees... View on the active Etna, very nice location... A car is preferable if you stay here..

Great location, very accommodating.. Very helpful staff, very close to Fontana Bianche.. The bicycles available for free on the property were a great way to get to the beach and rocks. The restaurant on site is amazing.. The wait staff was incredible and very accommodating.. -

Trully friendly manager and receptionists. Courtesy van brough us from the port to the hotel and back. Luggage brought to the room and all facilities pointed out to us. Superb room and services. The hosts were very friendly and although their English was limited we did communicate well using Google in need to translate.
The B&B is in a very quiet area despite being in a town.It is well located to visit Taormina and Mt Etna.

The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views.
They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing.

The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very
pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if
staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other
reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

All staff in the hotel were amazingly helpful. Their knowledge of the local area was really useful. The hotel is in a great location for historical sites. Great location for Eolian islands cruises. Stayed in triple room (suite) and it was very spacious. Bathroom very nice. We didn't had breakfast included, but we had dinner one evening. The service was very good and the food delicious.

Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh.
Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !
