Loved that the location was so calm and peaceful. The facilities offered a large lounge room, plus large bathroom and bedroom. Felt very spacious.

The host was very welcoming; once we took our luggage to the room and
went to the dining area to use the wi-fi and he brought us espressos and
water. The room is lovely, spacious, with nice bathroom and good
mattresses. The dinner at the hotel should not be missed; the food is
wonderful - a real find and quite reasonable. The breakfast was nice,
not just sweets.

Great hotel. Room we stayed in was huge, spotless and very clean. The

Rooms were well appointed and everything worked. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.

This is a unique property - an old manor house, fully restored, a producing vineyard and an excellent estate wine that is well worth the modest price. The Petrara Resort is a charming agriturismo resort in Avola. During our stay there, there were no wandering farm animals except for a couple of cats. The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins
away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private
parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be
safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering
the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in
room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're

The big balcony with a view of the park is great. Food at the restaurant is good. - hotel itself was very nice, rooms were a good size and standard, and view from sew view window was lovely. staff were helpful, although one or two of them need to learn how to smile.

We were very surprised by the comfort and value of this place, overall the best deal we could made in Sicilia in summertime. Walking distance (15 min) to the old part of Siracusa (Ortigia). Quiet and big comfortable rooms, everything looked quite new. Good breakfast.

Great location, very accommodating.. Very helpful staff, very close to Fontana Bianche.. The bicycles available for free on the property were a great way to get to the beach and rocks. The restaurant on site is amazing.. The wait staff was incredible and very accommodating.. -

Nice hotel. We had an amazing view. It's old, it's Italian, don't have the highest expectations. AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal.
