  The hotel is ideally located right in the center of Palermo's historic district, - all main attractions are in walking distance. The room was clean and lovely, the hotel itself very impressive with a glass- covered atrium. Breakfast was large for Italian standards and very tasty.   This hotel is situated in a relatively quiet and pretty piazza compared to the surrounding hustle,and parking is easy on site. There is a great market for food lovers around the corner. (letsbookhotel.com,p - Salvo on reception looked after us superbly. We were upgraded to a suite and what a beautiful room with balconies and comfy furniture. The area did appear rather dodgy but in reality was not although you have to factor in the noisy locals that gather in the square below. It was out last night of holiday and I suppose slightly fearful of venturing outside in the nearby streets (unfounded, of course) we dined in the hotel. The food was quite simply incredible.   Great hotel. Room we stayed in was huge, spotless and very clean. The bathroom was huge and spotless. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with an excellent variety of fuits and other staples. Just tell him Chris from Chicago sent you. There's a Mojito Bar right across the street where many people gather, with some great cuban music. - Rooms were well appointed and everything worked. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.
