I (67 yrs) was travelling with my God daughter (29) who has cerebral palsy. All the staff treated her with respect and good humour and indulged her attempts to speak Italian, she has difficulty speaking English! Nothing was too much trouble and when an incident occurred that necessitated a change of bedding, I was assure it was "no problem". The apartment was more than I expected, beautifully appointed and scrupulously clean. A truly wonderful stay.

We visited Sicily in July 2013 for two weeks, of which a week was spent in Palazzo Gallo. We could not fault it at all, and would more than happily live in the apartment. It was very spacious, clean and had everything (and more) that you would need for self catering. Breakfast was left in the apartment and we found there to be more than enough to do both breakfast and lunch. Excellent location in the heart of the city, friendly and polite staff (I was served breakfast even being late - special thanks to Marco ;)), quite a decent breakfast for B&B (no hot dishes but good snacks, salame, yoghurt, fruits and capuccino!). We used the shuttle service to get from the airport to the Residenza which suited us well. The place was very clean and modern.
