  It is a very confortable and well situated. The staff was very kind. - The hotel is in the centre of Palermo opposite Teatro Massimo. Eeasy to reach from the Palermo's central statio (buses 101, 103 ), the bus stop is 100m from the hotel. The staff is friendly but could speak English better. Good breakfast, spacious, clean room.

  Hotel Italia took up the whole fourth floor in a classic old building typical of Palermo on one of its main streets, via Roma. It was in a beautiful apartment, high ceilings and dark wooden floors, and quaint furnishing. We had a rather small room but we still found it really nice, with a big window and balcony with quaint, wooden shutters facing ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » via roma, with a stunning view of the central station building and the mountain behind it. We had a shared bathroom which was down a long corridor but - Good value for money, perfect location in the central street and very close to the main train station. Room was small but cosy and clean, breakfast was served in the room that made it also quite comfortable. Very nice and welcoming staff; the man working at reception at night shift(unfortunately I don't know his name) was very helpful and friendly.

  Cordiality and helpfulness of the staff at the reception desk; comfort of room; and well-appointed bathroom.
