Great location in old town. Enjoyed the roof top garden - plenty of sun lounges, table tennis and a drinks machine with beer and wine. This is a very nice hotel centrally located in the small town of Cinque
Terre. The location is within meters of the main square of the old town
and very nice. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful.

Cesare and his mother Rosa are wonderful hosts. Cesare returned late in
the evening to check us in after hours. Rosa makes a fantastic homemade
full Italian breakfast. It gets you through until the late afternoon.

The location was great. Cesare who checked us in was very helpful with info and needs. Only B&B in our trip of 5 of them who gave the personal attention of giving you a drink upon arrival, had a bowl of fruit to grab as you needed. Also had fresh fruit in your room, with cookies and a small coffeemaker and safe. It is decorated nicely contempary and we had the best shower! Cesare's MaMa does the breakfast that is outstanding. La Casa was quite easy to find, the pathway being opposite the undercover public car park, and the mule track was really not that bad, so long as you pace yourself. The Cinque Terre is a very hilly region - you can't escape climbing hills. The staff at La Casa were very friendly and welcoming and the room spotlessly clean and very comfortable. S

I loved the location of the hotel. The hotel overlooks the ocean and is right next to trail #2 from Monterosso to Vernazza. Beautiful location... the hotel seemed to be four rooms on the third floor of an apartment building, which was a little confusing, but once we were inside it was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and helped us with printing out boarding passes and anything else we needed. They were so NICE!! The view was AMAZING... perfect spot in Monterosso to home base for fantastic exploring.

The location of the hotel was perfect, in the old town of Monterosso blocks from the sea and within steps of good restaurants and shopping. The management amazingly met us in the middle of the night (1:00 when our train arrived) to walk us to our apartment--so grateful! Nicely decorated, comfortable, and spacious. Very nice host (Claudia), the room is large, nicely equipped and clean - but the biggest advantage is the great location directly in the old town of Monterosso. Nights are quiet and beds absolutely okay.
Our room (the purple room) was located on ground floor with a direct own entry door from the small street (no cars!). Great!

I loved our stay at the hotel. Everything was outstanding. We got a wonderful room of 2.5 levels (bedroom, sublevel bathroom-shower, and a tiny walkout patio). The resort is also eco-conscious with reminders about the use of water and electricity. Location was great! Two steps from the beach and main street that took us to all the restaurants. Best place from our Roman Holiday!

A very charming hotel centrally situated in Monterosso al Mare. Very nice and helpful staff. The room was always clean with new towels every day. The bathroom was big and really good. Breakfast buffet was delicious and tasting with a very friendly staff. Hotel 5 Terre is very close to the beautiful beach of Monterosso, the railway station that connects to all the other Cinque Terre villages and to the Old Town. Also a nice area around the hotel.
