  La Casa was quite easy to find, the pathway being opposite the undercover public car park, and the mule track was really not that bad, so long as you pace yourself.   This was our 2nd stay at Hotel Baia and this was during their big holiday on August 15th. We love this place, the view of the ocean was spectacular and the personnel were friendly to us, especially the older lady who is there in the morning. The view was AMAZING... perfect spot in Monterosso to home base for fantastic exploring.

I particularly liked the furnishings, the bed was extremely comfortable (I'm fairly picky about beds) and was much bigger than European standards. About half way to the hotel, the power went out in the town. Thankfully we let the hotel know what time we were arriving, as the person working the desk came out and found us. We were traveling with our daughter, and she had her own spa - I loved our stay at the hotel. Everything was outstanding. We got a wonderful room of 2.5 levels (bedroom, sublevel bathroom-shower, and a tiny walkout patio). The resort is also eco-conscious with reminders about the use of water and electricity. Location was great! Two steps from the beach and main street that took us to all the restaurants. Best place from our Roman Holiday!

Hotel 5 Terre is very close to the beautiful beach of Monterosso, the railway station that connects to all the other Cinque Terre villages and to the Old Town. Also a nice area around the hotel.
