I just spent two nights at the Hotel Tizi. I had a very enjoyable stay. It took me just 5 mins to get to Termini from the hotel. The area is too secure what was highly important for me.

I stayed in this hotel with my wife and two daughters for 4 days. The location is perfect for visiting the different sites in Rome. The Colosseum and other nearby attractions is just a 10 to 15 mins. walk from the hotel. Going to Vatican, bus stop for bus #40 is just around the corner. Trevi fountain is also just a 15 min walk from the hotel.
The staff Catalina was very helpful. The room was so clean and made up everyday. Wifi is free and fast. Good restaurants are also aplenty in Via del Serpe

Chose because of price and proximity to Pantheon n lots of other attractions. Nervous when arrived - only a small placard on the wall of a side street cabbie located only by address. Very very very very helpfull staff. The explained which places to visit, which buses to get, printed out tickets, spoke english.
Also location was good, central close to train station, with restaurants near by, safe by night.
Overall it was good.
