Breakfast and only 2 or 3 m walking to San Marco - The hotel was charming, bright and full of character. We stayed in the Junior Suite which had a jacuzzi, a reasonably priced mini-bar, a flat screen TV and the room was decorated in a quintessentially Italian manner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was raining and they had umbrellas for us to use. They also allowed free use of the internet for each of us for 15 minutes, that was just enough to catch up with future arrangements and home. - It was a beautiful apartment, super clean and spacious. The service from Daniel, tge manager, was the best experience in a lifetime of travel. He treated us like family.
The balcony overlooking the gondolas was classic. I highly recommend this and consider the price to be a great value in the context of an expensive city.

The location is amazing and all seights are within a short walking
distance. This is a family run, apartment kind of hotel with no
reception. You ring the bell and sign in in the upper communal area. Our
friends stayed in a three star hotel down the road and we were not
allowed in to have some rest with them but instead was treated like
animals. This one didnt mind and everyone was allowed to join the
