  The staff there was attentive and extremely helpful. They carried our bags up the stairs (yes, stairs, no elevator), but what do you expect for a smaller and quiet little nest out in the heart of Venice. Wifi is free and its fast!!! There's a few floors but with only a few rooms, meaning its not loud; you can sleep in peace, and quiet. Go explore:) - The apartment is huge and the owner was so friendly and helpful. The apartment is marketed for 4 people but could easily sleep 6.   although the guesthouse's entrance is located in a funny little alleyway, and you have to carry your bags up 2 flights of stairs yourself (no lift), our room was big and comfortable. We liked the location. Also, the guesthouse is located next to a vibey piazza where all the artsy locals hang out, so - This hotel was fairly close to everything. Hotel was close to a square with many restaurants and bars. Room was clean and air conditioned. Room was not fancy but was fine and the hotel was a good value. Staff did not speak English but were still nice.

  The location is perfect. The staff, especially main guy (goatee guy), were v. helpful and friendly. They arranged our gondola ride and answered our questions fully. The bathroom was clean and seemed new except for the broken shower door (it still worked, but was coming apart).   I made a reservation in this hotel for my parents. It was their wedding anniversary and the hotel's owner welcomed them by giving them a bottle of wine as a present.   a lovely gentleman from reception desk greeted us when we arrived by coming downstairs and carrying our heavy luggage upstairs to second floor, then gave us a great overview of Venice and helped with directions and how to get around.
