Lovely historical Albergo overlooking Lake Como. Antique furniture throughout and lots of period features make you feel like stepping back in time, very romantic! The hotel owner is very friendly and helpful and even let us keep our car in her private garage overnight due to it being fully loaded with holiday luggage and 2 bikes on the roof! Break

Marco, the owner was very hands on and he supplied a lot info about things to see and do in Como and the towns around the lake. He also owns L'Antica Trattoria. Just been recently renovated. Extremely clean, comfortable and very friendly service. On arrival offered a cup of coffee or tea. Very welcomed after a long trip. Helpful and flexible. Lovely breakfast. Freshly baked croissants each morning. Would definitely go back. Great for families or couples. Owner was preparing newly renovated self contained apartments. I am sure they will be beautiful like the one we stayed in.

Although the roads to this hotel are narrow and difficult the location and the hotel itself are more than worth the effort to get there. The welcome was the most friendly experienced on this trip. The rooms, lounge etc. are presented beautifully and this a truly wonderful place for couples but not really suited to families with young children. Loc

The Villa is a beautiful old house which has been lovingly and tastefully restored and decorated in 2013. Kristina is a very friendly host. Great location with lovely veiws and only a short walk to the Funicular that takes you to Como. The breakfast was varied and overall good.
The option for wine and coffee (Nespresso) in the lounge was a nice touch, but one must pay.

Great personal service by the very gracious owner, Rosanna. She waited for my very late arrival on a Sunday night and was ready every morning with breakfast and a nice chat. The location is superclose to the center, and for me was perfect because it was midway to the center and to the lakeside Villa Olmo where I had to work. Room was very spacious and beautiful, with a gorgeous balcony to top it off.

The location of the hotel is very practical as far as access to the centre of the city is concerned; just a 5 minute walk to restaurants and other amenities. The room was very comfortable and was equipped with full-functioning air conditioning which was an essential as temperatures soared to close to 40 degrees during our stay. The bathroom is spa

Don't be put off by the external appearance. The hotel is down an alleyway off a slightly scruffy side road (literally) on the wrong side of the railway tracks from the old town. The only clue to its presence is a "23" on a laminated sign at the entrance to an old courtyard. Once inside however, in a typically Italian way, all is transformed. The rooms are lovely, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The bathroom to our room was huge, with a shower large enough to take several friends
