Although our plane was late, and we didn't arrive at the hotel until after midnight, the manager was waiting up for us and welcomed us courteously. The following morning he took us all the way to the station, a 20 minute walk away, and directed us on to the right train for Budapest. -

A good value for a nice room nearby the airport at Budapest. The room was clean and large enough for our one night's stay before our flight. The room is air conditioned. No airplane noise in the evening. I recommend the Halasz Aiport Panzio. -

Close to a big shopping mall and it is very easy to go to the city center; just a 10-minute-walk and a few metro stops. Wi-Fi performance was satisfactory and welcoming of the staff was good. Bathrooms were clean. During your accomodation, you are given 2 keys; one for your room and one for the big entrance gate: So you can come and go as you wish

If you are looking for a cheap and cosy accomodation which is relatively close to the metro station and the airport, this will be one of your best choices.
What is more, I asked for the late check in (around midnight) and the owner without any objections waited for me, although he doesn't live there!

I really recommend this hostel. The staff is very helpful, there is a free wifi working in a room, 7minutes walking to the metro Puskas Ferenc station from which you get to the centre just in a few minutes. Although we had to leave the room at 11am, we could leave our luggage and come back there even at 5pm, sit and drink a tea before our flight.

We booked a room but got entire apartment with separate toilette and separate room for our child for the same price which was a very nice gesture from the owner. Beautiful big house, very clean and neat. Air conditioned rooms. Peter and marika are very helpful and generous, often offering us rides and Peter gave us a ride to the train station when we left. Felt like home. Hard to believe it is so inexpensive. Highly recommend it here.
