Superb breakfasts with lots of choice and extras like the small pancakes deep fried and served with honey and sesame seeds - delicious. Everything. The apartment was really spacious, being able to store and prepare food in the kitchen was superb, the pool was beautiful and the design of the suites ingenious. The shower was strong, the air con great and the two balconies brilliant. Plus Maria herself was the very best of hosts, a lovely lady. We cannot wait to return - this was one of the best holidays we have had - we were able to totally relax and that was in large part due to how lucky we were to stay at Maria Suites.

The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

We have stayed at Galatia Apartments twice and had a fantastic time. The apartments are well finished and very clean which is very important to us with children. The location is fantastic, at the end of the road in Falasarna close to lovely beach and also 2 km walk from 'Big Beach ' if you want to go there. You can also walk to Ancient Falassarna through the olive groves and this is worth a visit. the bus to Chania and Kastelli-Kissamos goes from outside the hotel.

Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available!

Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George.
Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful
garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly
cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to
the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside
quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service
