Nice hotel, located at the end of the street leading to the foot path to the Meteoras - perfect if you want to hike the trail! Very friendly owner, gave us lots of information about the walking path to the monasteries. The hotel has a very nice deck/terrace with tables & chairs where you can relax and enjoy a great view of the rocks. -

Ισος το καλυτερο ξενοδοχειο στη Καλαμπακα. Καινουργιο, διακοσμημενο αναλογα με το περιβαλλον, φιλικοι ιδιοκτητες που σε κανουν να αισθανεσαι σαν καλεσμενος και οχι απλος πελατης. Good experience with Sisters Totti in Kalambaka. The hotel is about 15
minutes stroll from the railway station, very close to the centre as

The hotel is perfectly located: 5 minutes from both Railway Station and Coach Terminal, in the centre of Kalabaka and yet very close to the hiking path to Aghia Triada and Aghios Stefanos.
Our room was large, bright and had modern furnitures-equipments and a large balcony.
The breakfast they served was good and satisfying.
The two landlady-sisters and their niece were very helpful and gave us all the indispensable information to visit Meteora.

San Giorgio Villa is perfectly located in Kastraki for seeing and exploring Meteora. The hotel is sparkling clean, comfortable and cozy, and staff are friendly. Wifi is fast with strong signals everywhere. There are areas to lounge around and relax in if you want to escape from your room - verandas and sofas etc. And, for this particular region, the prices are reasonable - I was very positively surprised by the level of comfort and service that was provided.

The location is the best if you want to visit Meteora Monasteries. There is a swimming pool that my wife could enjoy with the 4 years old kid when we were climbing with the others. Elena and her staff were amazing. We were early and it was no problem. We were able to leave our bags and go and visit the monasteries. She gave us lots of information about the area and told our 2 boys (10 & 13) all about the snakes and turtles that you can find nearby. Of course they went looking and had a great time. Two friendly brothers own the hotel and the restaurant that has been
working since 1964. Nice clean rooms, most with one double bed + 1 or
2 twin beds. One fridge is available on the ground floor. Wi-Fi works
perfectly. Wonderfull view. There is a church near the hotel and the
noise of the bells wakes you up at 7:30 A.M. But still you come to

Kastraki location is really ideal. Best amenity was the large second
floor covered porch where you could stretch out with a cold (very cheap)
beer after a day's hiking or climbing with rock-spires and green
mountains spread out before you. Perfect place to relax!! Mom-staff was

We stayed at Mythos Guesthouse for 2 nights in October 2013 to visit the Meteora monasteries. Fantastic position: on the Meteora side of town with amazing views of the rocks from our rooms; central but plenty of parking outside. Our two rooms were large, charmingly decorated, with a balcony and fridge each, and extremely good value. Excellent buffet breakfast included eggs and homemade cake. But above all, the welcome and attention from Spiros and Dita was outstanding; both speak perfect English. Spiros gave us useful information on seeing monasteries and where to eat afterwards.

The owner both husband and wife are really kind people and very helpful they were so kind as one day I had returned after Hiking Meteora mountains the whole day and was so tired and wanted something to eat for dinner (they don’t do dinner and the nearby restaurants is about 10 min walk)
