  Everything was good. We missed our evening meal but our hostess kindly brought us some food to our room. the breakfast was delicious and our hostess very friendly and kind. - Great "farm-style" location Wonderful hosts Breakfast outside in the paddock when weather allowed! Nice room

  The owners were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel so at home. We booked La Mare Elan as a stopover point both at the beginning and the end of our two week holiday, and I can honestly say that all six of us were really looking forward to staying there again and spending time with the owners again. The rooms are lovely, the décor is very traditional French and the rooms were very clean. Th - A very warm welcome.from the owners. Charming bedroom and large en suite bathroom. Breakfast was so enjoyable - with fresh bread and pastries, home made jams and bowls of cherries and redcurrants picked from the garden. With other guests and the owners on hand throughout, it had the atmosphere of a House Party.. The previous evening on the recommendation of Madame we ate well at a hotel on the coast at Houlgate La Mare Elan is a real gem!

  this domaine is the best way to escape a few days from the daily routine. it s easy, we enjoyed everything from our stay. The hospitality from the hosts, the forest around where we had a great moutainbike session, ... we deciced to stay in the wooden caravan as we always stay in traditionnal B&B, we were surprised how cozy and clean it was, an... τι λέει ο κόσμος » d had the chance to even to a BBQ on our private terasse!Honfleur and Hougalte are only 30kms away so also perfect for a beach walk ;) - We stayed in the gipsy caravan (roulotte), which greatly exceeded expectations. It was really luxurious, with a wonderful shower and all mod cons, yet with the feel of the outdoors. At night, in the very comfy beds, owls hooted, and the air was simply wonderful. The owners are absolutely delightful and provide delicious home-made breakfasts. My daughter loved the golf course that winds its way in and out of the woodland. Fabulous countryside all around.
