The location was excellent for visiting the medieval city. It is a
beautiful house which has been carefully and tastefully restored. The
owner (Bernard) was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended
several good restaurants for us as well as giving us directions. The
breakfast was very good and our apartment was superb with French windows
leading onto the well maintained garden. Rooms were spacious and very
clean. Although this accommodation is on a busy road, we found that we
were unaware

Single room was small but comfortable, with shower and basin. Toilet was just down the hall. A small lift meant you didn't have to negotiate the stairs with bags. Close to the train station, it allowed me easy access for a late night arrival. About only a 15 minute walk to the historic Carcassonne walled city. Owners did not speak much English but

This was a very typically French hotel which due to location, welcome and comfort was a joy to stay in. From arrival to departure the Proprietor was a joy and his attempts at encouraging guests to practice their French as he practiced his English was just brilliant. We travel regularly between France and Scotland,don't know when we are due next to travel from Carcassonne to Glasgow but would definitely stay here again.

We´ve had a very nice stay in this lovely Hotel. Mr. Denis Auclair was a
very nice and extraordinary host who gives us every day the Feeling to
be a part of the Family. The sourroundings of the Hotel, Canal du midi
and the very beautiful garden of the Hotel, let us feel very good every

Dennis made us very welcome and has a beautiful B&B. the room we said in was large and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Excellent place to wonder through Homps. Great place to start our Canal du Midi trip. Will definitely return and to Dennis thank you and by the way your wine was very enjoyable.

Great base for exploring Carcassonne if you have a car. Pool was a big bonus for our little ones. Lovely gardens to sit outside. Supermarket within walking distance. Alex was a great host. -

Great guest house run by the fabulous Simone, Who spared no effort in making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay even waking early to prepare breakfast for us before our early train even though breakfast was not officially served until later.

This place is a box of delights wrapped in a plain paper wrapper. Driving down the street its easy to miss the sign over the door but when you ring the bell the double carriage doors open to reveal a real gem of period property with Simone, the smiling owner, pointing us to our secure parking spot. The rooms are individually styled to suit the centuries old building, but with comfortable beds, some of them four poster.

The staff at aragon were really friendly so even though we were unlucky with the weather they lent us umbrellas. The location is excellent a 2 minute walk to the medieval castle entrance. The hotel was very well kept with a lovely clean pool area and hotel rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. We didn't try the breakfast as we ate out but overall

The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The bedroom on the first floor looked out on the Old City & the view was stupendous day or night. The swimming pool was faultless and a sun-trap for those who want it with some shaded areas. The hotel was very close to the Old City and a five minute walk away. The city of Carcassonne was a twenty minute walk into town and the car was not required after arrival.

and very different from your chain hotels. Our room was quite big for a

Le Passage was excellent! I was somewhat nervous staying in carcassonne after reading online you should stay 1 night maximum but we ended up extending our stay! The hosts of this guest house made us feel really welcome. The blazing lovely fire in the sitting room greeted us on our arrival and the dinner (5 courses) was delicious at only 20 Euros each. Paul, le Patron, is a very hospitable, cheerful, helpful and friendly
host. In addition he is a superb chef. Aux Quatre Saisons is worth a
visit just for dinner alone. The price charged for dinner there should
probably be at least three times as much as Paul charges and would be in
any Restaurant with any reputation; 6 splendid courses with appropriate
very well chosen wines, all inclusive. This is Michelin star cuisine.
