  This is not a traditional hotel, but rather an apartment-style hotel with only four or five suites, each with a small kitchenette.   The staff were so relaxed and welcoming. They brought our bags up to our room and did not linger expecting a tip. It's in a good residential neighborhood, with plenty of family restaurants in the area, at a slightly better price and away from the touristy area. Also fantastic bookstores and good shopping, a stones throw from the Jardin de Luxembourg. The price is slightly lower because you have to walk an extra two blocks to get to the middle of the action. Honestly, one of the better secrets for a good Paris stay.

The receptionist couldn't have been more efficient and helpful! Knowing that one of us had become not well, he happily agreed to us delaying our checkout , allowing us to rest in the room and avoid a tediously long wait at the station.
