It's in a good residential neighborhood, with plenty of family restaurants in the area, at a slightly better price and away from the touristy area. Also fantastic bookstores and good shopping, a stones throw from the Jardin de Luxembourg. The price is slightly lower because you have to walk an extra two blocks to get to the middle of the action. Honestly, one of the better secrets for a good Paris stay.

  The hotel was very close to the Metro St Michel which is a direct line from both CDG and Orly. Also only 2 stops to Gare de Nord if travelling to and from London.
