1) Location, less than 100m walk away from Metro - Oberkampf. Ideal station to move around in Paris.If you have heavy luggage, carry luggages up and down the metro stairs can be a chore BUT the hotel proximity to bring you almost everywhere in Paris weighs over all that stairs.
2) Though they dont provide kettles in the room but the Reception ge

The hotel was really clean, they would come in the room everyday to check if you had clean towels etc.
They didn't steal anything from the room
The room was small but very pretty for how little we paid
The metro station is 1 min away and if you walk straight you arrive at Place de la Republique which has plenty of bars and places to eat. Not expensive
There was always someone at the reception to talk to you

Friendliness - I spent 3 nights in this hotel with my girlfriend and I have to say - everything was perfect, hotel staff was very kind, friendly, there was no problem with speaking English and I could obtain many useful information of them. The 24hr reception was fantastic. All staff multi-lingual and very helpful. Great location, walking distance to all major Paris attractions. Also close to two metro stations. This was a wonderful hotel, convenient location, for our family and our
recent visit to Paris. It is a small hotel and unassuming. It is not for
people looking for a luxurious facility, but it was clean and the room

I loved this little hotel! It is in a fantastic convenient location. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was extremely accommodating. It will be my hotel of choice next time I'm in Paris (in fact, I almost hesitate to give it such a good review in fear that I will find it booked when I'm next looking to go!). Very much looking forward to returning. Thank you!

Location was great, just a couple of minutes from metro station. The room was spacious and well lit, clean and cosy. However it was a little cold (I stayed there in March). The personnel spoke English and was very friendly. Very good price/quality. Would definitely stay there again. - friendly helpfull staff and the location, nice part of paris

I could not fault this hotel. It was great value for Paris. It's not luxury, but it had everything I needed. The water was always hot. The room was well heated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent location - 5 minute walk to the Metro and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. The staff were helpful and pleasant. -

The hotel was in a super area, near the Canal St Martin, and very convenient for the Gare du Nord. There were nice places to eat nearby, and I liked having a buffet breakfast. The location of the hotel was excellent - the exit from Gare de l'est (Boulevard de Strasbourg No.5 exit) brings you in front of the hotel entrance.
The staff is very friendly and in case of early arrivals will keep your luggage so that you can go ahead and explore Paris.

Small, reasonably priced,not part of a chain, breakfast delivered to
room, English spoken. Ideally situated for us between gare du Lyon and
gare du Bercy as we had to put classic car on Autotrain at gare du Bercy
and then have overnight stop in hotel before getting tgv next morning
