Wonderfully restored middle sized old French house. Staircase seems ancient but beautiful. The decor throughout is tasteful but with the rationed use of bright colours. There is an open plan kitchen coffee, tea and biscuit station for use whenever. Large fruit tree gardens and table outside. Breakfast was generous continental. Very pleasant owner. Highly recommended for the price.
The very friendly welcome from the owner who was very attentive but not imposing during our stay . The furnishings and decor are excellent more like an expensive boutique hotel than a well prices B&B - While the location was a bit remote it is a very easy walk into the town center - really great we fully recommend it. όλα τα σχόλια »
The farmhouse room was a mix of rustic and modern, well equipped, and
comfortable. The bathroom was especially nice. Nadine greeted me warmly
with an offer of tea and cookies, which I enjoyed on the terrace, and
breakfast was first-rate, with homemade jams to go along with the bread
and croissant.
A lovely place to stay, extremely comfortable. We enjoyed meeting the owner who was very friendly. Nice to have a kitchen to prepare a variety of drinks, etc all included. Lovely continental breakfast. Now on our list for a future trip.

The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had access to the kitchen and were able to make tea. The owner was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very good. Great for an overnight stop on our way south.
Everything, it is a very well renovated and decorated property (since August 2012) and the rooms are superb with excellent quality fittings and very comfortable bed. Drive into Alencon is only 4 minutes- nice restaurants.
The house is charmingly renovated and our room was full of light with two big windows. Nadine is a very kind hostess and breakfast was delicious. The house and garden are an island of calm for a traveller.

Location, Alencon is a beautiful town, our room was extremely comfortable, beautifully furnished & very large. But best of all is the welcome from Nadine she is very attentive & friendly.
Location excellent for a break in our journey and easily found with GPS. Could easily walk to good restaurants in town centre. Quiet spot even though close enough to town. Very comfortable bed.

Large drive and parking, but entrance is via the far door with a small bell. There is no hotel sign. The hotel is house number 3 and the owner can be found at the larger number 5 next door if the place seems deserted.
My room was on the second (European) floor, reached by an uneven
winding staircase -- would be a problem for someone with walking
difficulties. Watch your head on the low beams! Considering that the
home has a huge garden in the back, it is sadly devoid of any welcoming
flowers on the front.

nothing really, the stairs are quite steep, so just a note on booking .com would help some people and the signage on the building could be better, but the owner, Nadine, did say that the outside wasn't quite finished.
We found it a bit hard to find (mostly our fault- we didn't take a map!).
Lack of signage on the building. Would not be suitable for anyone who cannot manage stairs.
