Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

warm environment as in the home, the house holder decorated every room very carefully and makes every corner beautiful! very satisfied !!! -

We enjoyed our stay at U Zamku very much. Petr was a most welcoming and friendly host, helping with parking on arrival and numerous other things during our stay. He even posted a tripod stand, which we had left behind, to our next hotel. The location is wonderful, right under the castle, the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts very good. We highly recommend Pension Aadelbert! - The hotel was central within the old town and as we were driving in, parking had been organised for us...this was excellent service. the owner was very polite and helpful. he even picked up us from the train station. as its quite close to the penzion. Everything was new, clean and reconstructed. toilets very nice. was not cold at all. -

The hotel is situated within the old town, close to the castle and all other sites. The rooms, though basic ,had everything we needed and were very clean. The breakfast was expansive, more than we expected considering the price of the room. The thing that stood out for us was the friendliness of our host and his ability to speak excellent English.

Everything! Location on the river with superb view of the castle. Room was huge with 2 beds ( one king and one twin) and couch and 2 chairs, vanity, and armoire. Faux Louis XIV style. Huge breakfast included served on the terrace overlooking the river. Staff had it waiting every morning. Cannot say enough about the helpful and friendly staff. We loved this Pension Hotel Belarie!

great basic English but our daughter spoke Czech which helped. Rooms
clean and comfortable part way up a hill so probably not good for guests
who have problem with steep banks unless you have car to go back and
