This hotel is a gem. It has granite counter tops & a jacuzzi tub in
the bathroom. The decor is clean & modernish with a huge flatscreen
tv. In the morning there is a Kerig coffee maker or you can get tea from

The room, itself was a nice surprise with a jacuzzi tub, a granite counter in the bathroom and the textured walls. The bed was good.
We also enjoyed the patio furniture that has been provided for guest so folks can enjoy the out doors.
We didn't use the barbeque, but others did.
I certainly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location right off highway. Good stopping point in trip from Spokane to Edmonton. The hotel clerk , Veronique, was so warm and friendly to us that on the return trip we spent the night again. The rooms were ultra clean and the beds were a fine welcome after drving for 7 hours. -

The rooms were clean with new furniture. Good heat control. They had a lot of toiletries and nice soap. The bed was very nice, staff were friendly. It's close to a bit of everything. I work on the road and this is one of the best and economical motels I've stayed in. Everything worked in my room. And the front desk was open 24/7. I will stay here again. They also have suites for a reasonable price. A++

I loved this motel! Freshly painted inside and out and so conveniently located to everything that I needed to be near! I would highly recommend it to other travels whether on business or pleasure! We have stayed at The Schell express at least once a year for the past3 yrs and my wife has stayed there many times for yrs before we were married. It is always Clean and the staff freindly and helpfull.. It is quiet and economical and close to our Assembly facility which we attend twice a year. Thankyou -

The view was spectacular from our room, overlooking the bay. The location is unbeatable in my opinion, right in the little town of Tofino, close to the water. Grocery store, bakery, gallery, wharf, nice restaurant, all within a block. A Saturday public market two blocks away. Amazing. There is a lounge area for preparing food which allows guests to interact if desired and feel connected to the others in the hotel. Location is unbeatable for what we wanted!

Forget all valuations on letsbookhotel.com, older then 3 month. This former
rundown Travelodge has been taken over by a Chines-Canadian late 2012
and was completly remodelled and renovated since then. Like all
Chinese owned Motels I have been to so far in Canada, the place now is

I really liked the friendly and professional staff! When I asked for help with directions to two different locationis the girl was really helpful in pulling up directions from the computer and printing it off and then explaining them to us! Holly was another amazing desk clerk! Very cheerful and helpful! The night manager was fantasric! I would deffinatley recomend and go back to this lovely hotel! It 's too bad that it is called the Hwy Hotel, as that might scare off visitors from booking in.
