I traveled in March and went up for the weekend. I was charged more than
what had reserved the room for online. Unfortunately I did not have a
copy of my reservation and was not about to argue over $5 extra each
night. I also paid for parking at $8 per night. So the total room and
parking and taxes came to a total of $68 per night. I would stay he

again. The room had been freshly painted. The decor was lacking but the
room did have a small refrigerator which was handy. -
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is good, close to subway and for those who like to walk a lot is in walking distance to the city center.

The owner was fantastic, the hotel was lovely, the rooms are quaint for the most part but clean and have a romantic feel to them. Location is amazing. Just a few minutes walk to the ports of St Lawrence and seemingly infinite clubs, restaurants and bars. -

Staff were wonderful and most accommodating. As we only had one day and night, we were very happy that the riverfront and Chinese and Latin quarters were very accessible (20 mins) by foot. - very helpful and courteous staff, near city centre, near metro. very good value for money.

Located very close to Berri uqam subway station. The room was clean and
looked good. Continental breakfast (croissants, yoghurt, juice) was
included. The owner provided a very good map of Montreal and gave
detailed instructions re public transport, sightseeing, etc. There is a

I stayed in an apartment around the corner from Hotel Stay (part of owner's property as well). Location was great-not far from Park De La Fontaine-wonderful running/walking/biking paths there surrounded by trees. Two minute walk to Metro station. Great customer service! Staff was very helpful though not always available.

The Breakfasts were more than expected each day. The Host, Roc took orders for pancakes or omelets each day, enjoyed with the choice of fruit, yogurt, croissants & coffee.
Blandine checked me in & out, and was very courtious and helpful with tour pamphlets & explained where tourist spots were found, on tour guides or maps. Le Chasseu

Staff and owners very pleasant and accommodating. Location very
convenient to the Metro and inexpensive parking. We left our car parked
for the entire visit. Beautiful old building with exposed brick and lots
of trim work. Ac in the room (#4) worked well or we could just open one
of the the newer windows. Breakfasts were also one of the high points of
our stay. This will be our first choice for future visits to Montreal.

I loved the entire stay! Exceeded all my expectations. Great location, excellent worth for its price. Staff was friendly and helpful - offered to store my luggage even after checking out so I could enjoy the city before my late-night bus ride.

Their services for a hostel are excellent and I prefer them to a hotel
which is overpriced or noisy and people have done who knows what in your
hotel room bed but with this hostel you know they launder the
sheets/bedding and the space is eclectic - like your a student
again. Will stay there again when Im back in November!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
