The room was clean, the bed was surprisingly comfortable and the staff very friendly. Great location and great value. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if the opportunity presents itself again, will stay at this location. Great location and very clean facilities. Comfy bed with fluffy towels in en suite bathroom. Staff very helpful and kind too. Made me feel very welcome like their hotel name says in French.

This is typical of older buildings like this one in Montreal. Not a complaint, just a "heads up" for those with mobility issues. Noisy guests. Vents connect rooms so sound carried through them. Better if they provide breakfast with some variety. You get what you pay for, very basic but comfortable. less spacious, inside the corridor its smelling of smoke. 4 Flights of stairs Heat of the room and no room aircon. Well in the hall it s really dirty. AC is loud, needed to turn it off going to sleep. Could hear neighbours door slamming at night, but it is what's expected for the price. room was toooooo small, noisy. noise, discomfort from the mattress. Un GROS 0, concernant l'accueil...pourri... I was eaten alive with bugs and the owners neither apologised nor made no offer to reimburse us for the medication. - Rooms did not match the photos. - Shabby hotel - Breakfast was cheap bread with some jam and butter. The room is not the same as shown in the picture. These is not sofa in the room, and the bedstock is not iron. I asked the receptionist why, he told me the website just put those pics everywhere, and the room which was the same as in the picture costed 20$ more. A budget hotel should get a couple of things right. 1. You should be able to sleep well: This is not the case, a loud central AC is a real nuisance. 2. Good internet connection: No, falling away every other minute. Without these two basics (and a TV with one English channel), this hotel is not a good choice. Invest a bit more money for a good night's sleep.
