hostess very friendly and helpfull - good location to city (new 10min ,old 20min pleasant walk) ,subway (3min - one block) ,general stores and small reastaurants (in the neighborhood) - free parking - inroom kitchen (really liked the kitchen [daughter]) - Downtown location, kitchen and balcony in the suite.

Warm and professional welcome at the front desk. We had booked a room with a shared bath and thought that the accommodations for the price were very fair - the room was small, sparse, but clean; bathrooms were close, roomy and tidy. I was traveling with my friend and found out about this hotel in perfect location and for a very good price. Quality and price at its best. Room was very clean, you can adjust heat yourself, free wifi.. Staff was really helpful, advised us what should we see during our stay so it saved our time. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming with all guests. The hotel was clean and rooms were tidy. The hotel is on a side street so there wasn't as much noise at night compared to a main road which was nice. Comfortable and clean accommodations located near a variety of desirable neighborhoods. Rue St. Denis, Rue St. Laurent, Old Montreal, the Plateau and the Village are all nearby. It's also just two blocks from the Metro, which will get you just about anywhere. Quiet and off the busy street. Breakfast was okay.

The free internet was a bonus add breakfast and it was unbelievable for the prize. - For the price i didn't expect much, yet the rooms where spacious and the facilities where good and clean. I would diffidently stay their again on a return trip. And the Boston Bruins beat the Montreal Canadians which made the trip

Despite some reviews, the location is excellent. Short walk from the
club district, and a 10min metro ride from the cities main attractions,
including Central station. There are the occasional pan handler, etc,
but you'll find these in any city, in subways, parks etc. If that
sort of thing bothers you, you probably shouldn't leave your house.
Its the diversity of life that makes life and adventure.

The owner was fantastic, the hotel was lovely, the rooms are quaint for the most part but clean and have a romantic feel to them. Location is amazing. Just a few minutes walk to the ports of St Lawrence and seemingly infinite clubs, restaurants and bars. -

The Breakfasts were more than expected each day. The Host, Roc took orders for pancakes or omelets each day, enjoyed with the choice of fruit, yogurt, croissants & coffee.
Blandine checked me in & out, and was very courtious and helpful with tour pamphlets & explained where tourist spots were found, on tour guides or maps. Le Chasseu

convenient to the Metro and inexpensive parking. We left our car parked
for the entire visit. Beautiful old building with exposed brick and lots
of trim work. Ac in the room (#4) worked well or we could just open one
of the the newer windows. Breakfasts were also one of the high points of
our stay. This will be our first choice for future visits to Montreal.
