We had booked a room with a shared bath and thought that the accommodations for the price were very fair - the room was small, sparse, but clean; bathrooms were close, roomy and tidy. The room was very warm but we were - I was traveling with my friend and found out about this hotel in perfect location and for a very good price. Quality and price at its best. Room was very clean, you can adjust heat yourself, free wifi.. Staff was really helpful, advised us what should we see during our stay so it saved our time. I would strongly recommend to stay at this hotel because of great experience. As mentioned before- location is just perfect, everything can be reached by walking distance or metro if needed.   Great place to be while in Montreal. One of the best locations: very close to the Metro (2 stations to the old city...), to the Spectacles Quarter, to St. Denis and the restaurants. Short walk from the club district, and a 10min metro ride from the cities main attractions, including Central station. There are the occasional pan handler, etc, but you'll find these in any city, in subways, parks etc. If that sort of thing bothers you, you probably shouldn't leave your house. Its the diversity of life that makes life and adventure.

Ac in the room (#4) worked well or we could just open one of the the newer windows. Breakfasts were also one of the high points of our stay. This will be our first choice for future visits to Montreal.
