i really enjoyed the free upgrade to a suite, I got a call from the owner asking if I would like this free upgrade because he noticed my teen was traveling with us. very pretty motel, clean and nice kitchenette which was well stocked with everything to make a meal. would recommend to family and friends. -

We had a wonderful stay in Charlottetown and Dawson House. Stacy and Randy are very friendly, fun and helpful with the area. Breakfast was always fantastic, and it was great to talk to the other guests to hear about site seeing plans and experiences from the day
before. Hope to be back someday, and would love the stay at the Dawson House again.

I would totally recommend this stay. I liked the 2 bedroom set up and having a kitchen with working fridge which we used. The little soaps and bottles of shampoo and such were a nice touch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great walking distance to the downtown core. Glad parking was included. -

We felt very accomodated. We liked the fact that we were given the choice of reusing our towels and bedding...such a waste of time and resources to do otherwise. We had a number of questions/requests after the first day of our stay and they were taken care of immediately. Thank you for helping to make our stay so enjoyable!

The manager and staff were extremely helpful and made the trip that much more enjoyable and relaxing. Even though at first I was concerned as our rooms weren't ready the kindness and attentiveness of the staff made any such problem disappear.

We enjoyed the breakfast and the use of a kitchen to make lunch. The room was comfortable and we just loved the attentivness of the friendly hostesse, who made our trip so memorable. The place was absolutely beautiful, like stepping back in time, and so comfortable. The owners were incredibly hospitable and helpful, offering so many little touches to improve their guests' stay, from bits of luxury in the rooms, to delightful breakfasts, to being more than willing to offer advice and tips for enjoying the island. For the price we found the room to be rather clean looking with a nice flat screen, mini fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was very clean as well. We had our dinner in the little pub downstairs and found the food excellent (my wife had the lasagna and I the steak). -

Cindy and Guy were the perfect hosts. They recommended places of interest to visit and good restaurants. It was a homey atmosphere so you felt relaxed. It was very clean. The continental breakfast was adequate. Something different every morning. -

Location in downtown Charlottetown is excellent. Very clean, nicely renovated. Quiet. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice wine/beer hour in the afternoon. Breakfast offering is decent though a little awkward to eat at the sofas and chairs.

Barb was a lovely host. The food was delicious and always ready before I came down. Barb was very helpful with directions and also had maps on hand. My room, washrooms, etc were all clean. There were extra quilts to pile on for warmth too! The washroom even had heated floors which was amazing! -
