The place was absolutely beautiful, like stepping back in time, and so comfortable. The owners were incredibly hospitable and helpful, offering so many little touches to improve their guests' stay, from bits of luxury in the rooms, to delightful breakfasts, to being more than willing to offer advice and tips for enjoying the island. Kudos!

I cannot assign any of the above words to describe my experience here. It was a very beautiful house with a very nice room, beautiful private balcony and gorgeous bay view. My hosts were very hospitable, warm and friendly, and the food/presentation was exceptional. The bedroom was a bit smaller than I expected, but had all the comforts one would expect for the price.

Location in downtown Charlottetown is excellent. Very clean, nicely renovated. Quiet. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice wine/beer hour in the afternoon. Breakfast offering is decent though a little awkward to eat at the sofas and chairs.

We had a wonderful stay in Charlottetown and Dawson House. Stacy and Randy are very friendly, fun and helpful with the area. Breakfast was always fantastic, and it was great to talk to the other guests to hear about site seeing plans and experiences from the day
before. Hope to be back someday, and would love the stay at the Dawson House again.

Very kind considerate owners and staff. They helped us get around Charlottetown and PEI with great ease and pointed out many must see sights.
The Inn is spectacular. Beautifully decorated with many creature comforts. We felt like we were home. We loved the afternoon tea and cakes. A truly wonderful treat after a day of sight seeing.

Everything! The room was comfortable evening though we think we booked the smallest room in the inn. The hosts were exceptionally nice and helpful and their efforts to provide tea, coffee and snacks during the day and evening was very appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. It is a long way from our home in Arizona but if we ever go to PEI again, they will be our choice.

Shelley and the entire staff at the Colonial Inn served as gracious hosts during our stay. They made some great recommendations in helping us plan our couple of days in the area and got us off to a good start with breakfast both mornings. Had a great breakfast (chef baked fresh bread, muffins and quiche). The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. Room (Loft) was very clean, private balcony, lots of room. Friendly and made us feel at home. Gave great recommendations and guidance for our stay in Charlottetown. Can't wait to come back for another (longer) stay.

The hosts are terrific people. Very friendly and know PEI and had excellent recommendations for lunch and dinner. The breakfasts were delicious. My room and the entire living area clean and cozy. If all the B&Bs are like this, then I'd definitely never stay in a hotel again! -

I was travelling with a friend from England and we both found the
location of the inn perfect, close enough to the centre of the city,
quiet and peaceful. The room we had was conveniently on the main floor,
(for 2 old ladies!!), and beautifully furnished and very comfortable.

This lovely B&B is in a beautiful area of Charlottetown. Walking distance to everything downtown and just within the neighbourhood amazing homes.
Food was great and they made you feel very much at home.
Loved the DVD collection available for use in your rooms as you wind down from your day.
Lots of additional facilities such as sun room, kitchenette for coffee or tea anytime, etc.

Love this Inn! It's super clean, very well decorated and maintained. We enjoyed the tea here in our lovely room and they have a printer to print out our tickets for the musical, super convenient. The location is great, very quite, but only 10 min walk to the confederation centre. Love the little tea/ coffee space here and the reading area. Breakfast itself is delicious, and the dining area is beautiful. I'd recommend this to travellers to Charlottetown!

Roger was a real gentleman. He was very welcoming and obliging and nothing was too much trouble. He provided everything (and more) a traveller requires. Roger provides a wonderful B and B experience. Quiet family neighbourhood close to everything.
