The hotel was excellent. The owner was extremely hospitable, very helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was always immacculate and breakfast was superb. The house is large and friendly in a quiet part of a small village set
amongst farmlands. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is good.
The owners speak good English and are friendly and will help you with
anything you need. An hours drive from Calais on the
French/Belgium border.

From the moment I arrived I felt special. That feeling remained
throughout my all too short visit.The location, an easy walk from the
train station, is central to everything Poperinge offers. I was there
the two nights that the restaurant is closed, but other guests gave it

I was visiting with a friend & my son & stayed in the suite
which was ideal with two rooms. The purpose of our trip was to visit the
ww1 sites & the holel was in a lovely situation overlooking the town
square with many other bars & restuarants available to relax after
our visits. Hotel spotless & friendly well situated for the bus stop
& train station with late trains from Eiper. The food served in the
restuarnt was superb as was the service. Would certainly return.

The owners are wonderful... They took time to offer us coffee upon our
arrival and chat with us. We had such a great time here. Relaxing,

The hotel was clean and comfortable and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including arranging a battlefield tour for us. We had a substancial breakfast each morning which set us up for the day. The hotel was just a ten minute walk from the station and about the same to the city centre. Hoping to pay another visit in September.

This B&B was a great find: convenient location within the old city
with free off-site parking; comfortable room with spotlessly clean en-
suite bathroom; gracious, helpful proprietors; and tasty breakfast.
Especially loved the beautiful back garden: recipient, apparently, of
many awards. We rented their bikes and Johan not only made sure that we
had maps and emergency equipment but also sent us off with assurances
that he would come rescue us should we encounter any problems!
