It's a house of 17 century with the interior in romantic Belgian Provence style. All is very-very old and authentic, except a modern fashion bath (santech is in good condition, radiators is warm what was very important dew to really cold weather). I intend to stay at the Grand Sablon whenever I happen to be in Brussels. A huge plus was the weekend special, which made it very affordable. Comfortable, spotless, staff very accommodating. This place is right where you want to be. Just a few steps away is great shopping, restaurants, etc just a little off the beaten path which was cool. Then, Grand Place is just a few blocks away. The flat is very well located in the alternative district of St Gery. It is maximum 5 minutes walking from the Grand Place (city center) and from the Manneken Pis.
The staff is very nice.
I recommend this location for people who want to sleep/stay in a charming and well located flat.

Being situated in the real downtown centre but in a very small street
where they owe the only 3 house (1 with studios & apartments, the
other 2 with rooms), it is of a real big pleasure to have this quiet
island in a very small street with no noise and no traffic around. You

Our room was very clean and quiet with plenty of big windows to let in lots of light, with a small kitchen which proved to be quite convenient. The location is excellent, and just a short walk to the Grand Place. The beds were probably the most comfortable of any hotel I've ever stayed in, and the linens and towels were of a high quality. A home away from home in Brussels!

GREAT LOCATION! If you're going to be in Brussels, STAY HERE! Walk to the train station, steps to the square, plenty of restaurants and markets, right in the heart of it all. Very clean, stocked kitchen, nice bathrooms, great host! Can’t complain one bit. -

We loved our room, great bed, bathroom etc... and the breakfast buffet in the morning was terrific. The rooftop patio was beautiful and we relaxed up there late at night with a glass of vino and remarked what a great hotel it would be for a swanky event. Highly highly recommend.

We were given a room on the 6th floor overlooking the grnd place and wefelt like lucky kings. The breakfast room was on the 7th floor with apanoramic view and good coffee. Who can ask for more? - The location of the hotel was perfect.
