  Heimgartl is perfectly located on the bank of the River Inn with a wonderful view over to the city on the other side. It is just 15 minutes walk from the old city, 20 minutes walk from the railway station. Bus F runs from the airport to the railway station every 15 minutes.   We booked a quadruple room for 4 (3 sisters over 20 and our mom). The room was spacious with a large balcony that overlooked the mountains. The balcony is enclosed but has large windows that open up. The room had a double bed, and 2 single beds pushed together. We only spent one night in Innsbruck and arrived during a heat - Very central hotel - couldn't be closer to shops and the old town. Helpful staff. We arrived at mid-day and our room was already ready. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of storage space. Good internet connection. The hotel has a check-in machine in the lobby, so you can arrive at any time. We had a small room facing the street, but the sound-proofed windows meant we had very little street noise. Tram and bus stops are right outside, so easy to get to airport or station on public transport.
