  The family room was very spacious and clean. Even though the room was on the fourth floor and there was no lift, the staff very happily helped with our luggage.   This is a wonderful hotel and a demonstration that you get what you pay for. £486 for 3 nights B and B. Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful setting with the Untersberg cable car at Grodig only 6 miles away and Saltzberg only 4 miles away. Stunning stunning location. The hotel has a terrace for afternoon and evening dining as well as the internal restaurant. - Absolutely gorgeous location on the outskirts of Salzburg, with a superb view of the Untersberg. A very upscale traditional gasthof, with large beautiful rooms and an impressive array of restaurant facilities - lots of marble, nice woods, etc. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, with most fluent in English as well as German (and probably several other languages, too).

  This is our second time at this Hotel but the last time, they were full (December 2005) and we had not booked!) but they kindly let us stay with their Aunt who lives in a house in the grounds. It is totally family run and they are such nice people. Very friendly, helpful and the Breakfast was great. The Bacon & eggs were superb plus a buffet o... τι λέει ο κόσμος » f cold collations. The evening meal was just as good, great value and real Austrian, local menu and produce. Very rustic, pine and typically Tyrolean. - The hotel was lovely, beautiful gardens and pool. It was very well maintained and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed 2 great meals in the restaurant. We appreciated the setting slightly out of Salzburg.
