Helpfulness and attention to detail of staff/managers.
Design and maintenance of facilities at high level.
It is not a criticism, but a couple of laundry machines would be handy for longer stayers. I understand these are being planned. -

Front desk service personnel very accommodating and attentive to providing solutions even to inquiries not directly related to stay, e.g. where in Adelaide to order for a bespoke customised plaque. My colleague and I checked in together and were immediately offered a free exec upgrade - very much appreciated as I needed to use desk. Rooms allocated were directly opposite - perfect for coordinating our departures (ie, good, thoughtful service). Great bathroom. Great snack selection. One of the best hotels I have stayed in for a while + value for money.

Everything, the balcony room was excellent and the variety and standard of food was high class. To top it off when we were checking out Mark Ricciuto stopped and initiated a conversation with us asking how we enjoyed our stay and spoke with us about our trip for 5 or 10 minutes. That confirmed my opinion of him as a good bloke and topped the trip

Excellent in all respects... First-rate meals in all 3 areas including very good value "specials" in the informal bar and restaurant... Consistently very pleasant young staff throughout... Without doubt the best hotel we have stayed in for a very long time. Congratulations in achieving such a high standard.

We loved this hotel! The room was the nicest we have ever stayed in due to it's size, the balcony, facilities and decor. It had a great view of the city and was located right in the CBD (perfect for a work or city trip). The food & service was great as well, but most of all we loved the size of the room, the huge windows and large bathroom. -

Very comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, close to great restaurants and cafes. The lifts were always quick and are a bit fancy. Nice tea and coffee selection. Bathrobes and slippers a nice touch. Great customer service when we needed maintenance in our room (bathroom doors off runners).

From the moment we arrived until that when we left we were made to feel welcome and valued. The staff were most attentive, but at the same time unobtrusive, and carried out their duties in a most professional manner. The room was comfortable and contained everything that we needed. The location is very convenient to town and major tram routes. Nice décor with an old-world feel in the lobby and public areas. The rooms are not huge, but perfectly adequate for a couple. Staff were attentive and helpful without being obtrusive. The Restaurant (and the service there) is excellent. Was only there for a shortish business break so didn't use the pool/gym and can't comment on those.

never encountered such nice staff and i have stayed in hundreds of hotels! Pool is really clean and has loads of really comfortable deck chairs. Breakfast was amazing, room was spacious with really big bathroom and nice extras that you would expect in a 5 star hotel. location is fantastic. -

Superb swimming pool, spa, sauna & steam bath.
Room is comfortable and size is good and large bathroom.
Breakfast was excellent with so many choices and healthy fruit juicing drinks

Beautiful location and a really pretty and romantic looking facility. Lovely staff and certainly value for money.
Room was airy and roomy and very clean. Comfortable with a living room feel and not just a bedroom. On arrival staff were very friendly and welcoming. Meal at the restaurant was superb.Room service was an unexpected bonus. -

Everything. The location on the water but close to Adelaide; all of the facilities; the housekeeping (everything was spotless, glass shiny, etc.); the food was excellent and well presented; the staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. We really felt that each of the them was committed to ensure that our stay was exceptional. It was!

our room had brilliant views, a very comfy bed. There is a great pool and spa area. We thoroughly enjoyed the 5th quarter bar, it has so many different and interesting items of sporting memorabilia. And our meal and service in the Carusos' Dinning room was second to none Thank you for a wonderful wedding anniversary weekend

I was a bit perturbed about being met in the street as the apartment I was in was not administered by the reception or management of the building, but this did not prove to be any issue at all in the end. The location was fantastic. A short walk to all that I needed to do. The highlight was the service from the owners. The price is the same as a hotel room but you have the luxury of a beautiful big apartment with a spa and wonderfully appointed kitchen. I will stay again.
