What a great find ...and lovely surprise !! The design and concept of this motel is quite stunning ...color and quality of the materials used ... Rooms were very comfortable very clean ...and the color scheme was carried out throughout linens and bath towels ....the Manager was most helpful and organized for us a visit at one of the opal mines on very short notice and dinner at Tom and Marys the local Greek restaurant ....Great food ! The Manager also prepared the best breakfast the next mornin.

After staying in a few "budget" motels during our drive around Australia, motels that left a lot to desire, this motel stood out as one I actually remember favorably. I would happily stay here again. We loved the convenient location, easy to find after the long drive from Alice Springs. The rammed earth construction is very appealing. The evaporative air-con is wonderful because you can let in fresh air at same time. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast great too. Because the building is built from mud bricks, the temperature in the room was very comfortable in the heat.Also impressed with the cleanliness,friendly managers,walking distance to restaurants,and Greyhound bus.Free transfer to airport.Lovely breakfast.large comfortable bed. The rooms were delightful, a very good size in room and bathroom. It was nice to have table and chairs too A little microwave would have been a good addition Thankyou for a pleasant stay Regards Debora. We ended up staying for 3 nights. Whatever you Asked dave was no worries water to fill our tanks, late check out, etc. Lovely laundry sooo clean. Housekeeping staff friendly and always willjng. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The spacious room was very quiet thanks to the rammed earth walls. Location next to the Greyhound stop. Free wifi and airport transfer. The temperature in the room was cool enough without using air conditioning & the room was spacious. Motel staff could not do enough for us & met all our needs. everything, loved the rooms best accommodation on our holiday, loved the walls, very friendly and helpful proprietors, will definitely be staying there again. Would be better if breakfast was included. Nothing. I do not like Coober Pedy in general, but this is a nice place to stay!. We were looking for a BBQ area to cook tea or just sit outside and relax.
