The owners were so thoughtful. The accommodated an early arrival and greeted us warmly. The villa was immaculate as was the rest of the house. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone, young or old. We would return without question. -

Pip and Trevor were very welcoming, the pubs, restaurants, and shops are right there at the front door step. It was a great place to stay with all the facilities you need. No need to have a car because you can walk every where.!! -

The building and units themselves are designed to take maximum advantage of the spectacular views. The accommodation is of a high standard and immaculately clean. The location right next to the beach and with access straight on to the main street of Caloundra is excellent. Everything is at your doorstep within easy walking distance - no need to get the car out.

The staff and facilities were great, including book & dvd library. Layout of apartment perfect for families with plenty of indoor and balcony space. The apartment was fantastic and very quiet. Our views to the ocean were beautiful. We had a great time staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending Waves to anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best coffee could be had at Mikki's just near the entrance to the hotel driveway...highly recommended for food, service, and of course coffee!

On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming.
Carparking was easy - a fee of $35 but we already knew about that so it was not a surprise. Still reasonable for inner city secure parking.
The room itself was just lovely. Clean and new, modern and well decorated, I could find no fault. We had a one bedroom city-view apartment.

Do not stay anywhere else!!
This is the perfection place to stay. Broadbeach is a real upmarket place with plenty of bars and restaurants. It is more low key and not as commercial as Surfers, which really suited us. Surfers is only a 30 minute walk along the beautiful beach. The staff at the Meriton are excellent. They helped with all our queries and booking trips and excursions. As a Local of 33 years we like to treat one self to a bit of luxury. We have stayed here before an loved it. Rooms are very clean n have had a bit of a refurb an look great. Had in room dinning an the food was great, as was the service. Had a in room spa which was relaxing. Was on the second floor did not find road noise to bad. Very fast checkin

Love the bed, not the usual two pushed together but a genuine kind size bed! Large balcony was nice, little touches of luxury such as spa bath, large shower, bath robes, mini bar etc. Staff booked our boat trip to the reef for us and they have lots of area knowledge and recommendations, very helpful and friendly!

We had a superior ocean view room on 22nd floor. Excellent view but a bit windy so the balcony didn't get a lot of use. Apartment was excellent. Very clean, quiet and comfortable.
Staff were extremely helpful and attentive and sorted any minor problems we had.

Hotel is in a central position, staff were welcoming and friendly from check in. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Rooms whilst on the small side are simply decorated, all the essentials of bar fridge, tea & coffee included, plus a microwave oven. Property has a pool on top level, which we hope to use next visit.......excel

I had a very comfortable suite, plenty of space, big bed with good mattress, fine cotton bedlinen; the bathroom was unusually large with walk-in shower. Real coffee with plunger in the kitchen area was a nice touch. Very helpful staff showed me the quick way to Central so I didn't have to cope with the hills from the city centre.

We stayed in the king spa room. Although it said it was a 2 person spa, i doubt that my husband and i could both fit in it, but enjoyed seperate spa's. The room was spacious and the bed was one of the best hotel beds we have slept in. Breakfast was includeded and it was a great selection. Would stay there again. -

The room was excellent. The king size bed was very comfortable and the sheets very nice. The bathroom eas very well designed and practical, the spa was not severe and was soothing. -

Overall stylish but relaxing appearance inside and out and separate eating areas offering different levels of eating. Staff were lovely, especially concierge and Citrique Restaurant. As sharing a twin room, loved we had a double bed each and so comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel is only a short walk to central Surfers Paradise

Great staff, excellent for family with child(ren), great food, convenient location with very close access to main road leading to fun parks and short drive or 15 minute walk from Surfers Paradise City Centre. Bonus, free parking underneath the hotel.
