On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Carparking was easy - a fee of $35 but we already knew about that so it was not a surprise. Still reasonable for inner city secure parking. The room itself was just lovely. Clean and new, modern and well decorated, I could find no fault. We had a one bedroom city-view apartment. Bathroom very nice, towelling etc thick and soft. The shower was just awesome, terrific pressure! The bed and pillows were just to die for!! It was t.

Impeccable and excellent customer service, very professional with a can do attitude. Meriton hospitality, one experience for only four days absolute perfection, Customer care already mentioned, Maintenance staff very polite and keep the room immaculate after every morning, overall experience rate out of a hundred?? 100% Satisfaction, please . Great location in CBD and across from the Roma St. train station. They warned us that the building was still under construction, but we did not hear any construction noise. They upgraded us from a cube to a one bedroom. It was very spacious and much, much nicer than a hotel room. Full kitchen was well-equipped. Beautiful swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Didn't try the exercise room, but it looked nice. Great cafe on the ground floor (Ad Infinitum) to grab a quick breakfast. Loved everything. The staff were very helpful. The room was spotless, the view was great. We are travelling for nearly a month so having laundry facilities in the room was brilliant. It was close enough to leave the car and walk around the city. I would highly recommend staying here. The price was certainly value for money but I expect this will increase once the work is complete. There is some drilling but this doesn't start until 8.30 am so was fine and not intrusive anyway. The view down the Brisbane river was very good. The apartment was new and very clean, very functional. Spectacular views.(24th floor) The lifts were very efficient. The reception staff were excellent, I remember that Claire was very good, good memory of previous requests. The construction "stop/go' worker in the street was excellent, very helpful and accommodating of our car whilst we unloaded bags and checked in. All staff made us fell a welcome guest. I liked the location, views from my rooms, the decor of the hotel especially the bedroom and the lobby; and the cleanliness of the hotel rooms and facilities. The hotel is new and the facilities including the laundry machines, kitchen, gym, sauna, pool and hot tub are great. I stayed on the 24th floor and my rooms had spectacular views of the Brisbane harbor, CBD and Southbank. I recommend this hotel and will stay in it again. Everything. The staff on checkin were exceptionally helpful. The room was beautifully appointed, spacious and functional.Location was perfect - we caught the airtrain from airport to Roma St and it was a brief walk of less than 5 mins to the apartments. There are numerous eating places nearby and the arts complex a short walk across the river. The rate charged ( due to construction) was exceptional... And we heard no noise. We had booked a studio but were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment, which was a bonus. The apartment was well appointed with lots of space and comfortable bed and soft furnishings. Despite the city location, the apartment was quiet. The fact that the building is still under construction means that it was great value for money and the construction had no impact at all on our weekend visit. The location is excellent. Close to Roma Street rail station and walking distance to city centre, Southbank and qagoma and museum. Within easy walking distance of CBD and South Bank. Fantastic views from apartment. All staff smartly dressed, very helpful. Apartments spacious and well laid out, with everything you need for your time in the City. So impressed have booked to return later in the month. A must for ant UK visitor to Brisbane. The staff were very friendly and professional. The location, excellent - easy walk to Southbank and the city with Roma Street station right across the road, not to mention the huge variety of pubs, cafes, restaurants and convenience stores at the front door. Beautifully fitted out gym etc, very secure and luxurious furnishings with fabulous views of the river/city. It was huge and spacious! All equipment in the room are new and easy to use! A star for its security level! Free wifi in every room too! Great view of the river and it is just 10 minutes walk to main shopping area. There is a train station (Roma Street) nearby, so it is easy to head anywhere even all the way to Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast!. Being brand new, it was great and the new security measures are impressive. Very close to the Brisbane Transit Centre, so great for getting to & fro. Enjoyed every minute of my stay at Meriton. The room was superb, we had a great view of the river and mountains. We used the gymnasium and lap pool daily, these areas were spotlessly clean. The reception staff were friendly and professional and security in the hotel made us very comfortable. We would stay at the Meriton any time in the future. The location was perfect, less than a 5 minute walk from Roma Street Station and easy walk to most other things, like Suncorp Stadium, Queen Street Mall, and convenience stores. An excellent few days which allowed us to visit areas within the city and the rainforest and Stradbrokke. Thank you for the experience. The apartment was magnificent- looked brand new. Had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Magnificent pool complex. Happened to be the best as far as convenience for our conference which was across the road but was also a easy 15min walk to Queens Mall. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome . Considering the price in Australia, this one is an excellent good value (we paid the same price for basic motel elsewhere). The short walk from Roma station, the short walk down George Street to Queen street mall. The very friendly staff. The security lifts. Everything made for a lovely stay. N/a. construction noise from 6.30am was unfortunate, but understandable. I guess it might be because it is a Serviced Apartment hotel but I could not get much assitance booking tours from the staff as I normally do in other hotels. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my stay here. I could not fault anything. The only possible issue is absence of parking at this time. Nothing really. It was all good. Perhaps construction noise would be a factor for a mid week visit but it didn't affect us at all on this trip. The noise on the first afternoon was pretty bad but we were warned at check in that this would be the case and so could plan accordingly. The shower door leaked (seemingly a design fault as it didn't appear to create a seal at the bottom) which is a minor irritation but just a shame in a new building. Nothing to dislike. Parking costs. Check out time is very early at 10am when the check in time was at 2pm. It is not exactly a 24hr stay. Every additional hour is charged at AUD$25. To be picky, the pillows were a little hard for us, but we still slept well after big days in Brisy!. At arrival , late night, the guy at the reception was really unfriendly..not even a wellcome...just "Passport and Credit card plz"...do not know his name I arrived July 7th arnd 11 pm. For the rest the staff was really cool. We had a really slack young man servicing the room, it wasn't until I made a complaint to the front desk that our linen was changed, soap and shampoos replaced and the hand basin finally wiped down. From day 3 onwards we were impressed with the service. The pool is inside. We didn't use it but if we were going to it would of been nice if it were outside. Wouldn't be suggested if you were looking for a pool outside for relaxing. The pool was a bit old people's home. The tiles and atmosphere was boring. The spa bubbled like a bubble bath... Something not right there. I tried the sauna instead and it was only 40 degrees so was useless. The parking was hard to find and get our suit cases back to motel will be much better when the car parking is in operation. Nothing to report. There is still building work going on upper levels but this did not worry me and the builders I saw were very polite. Didn't have any noise. Not a lot of places to eat in evening immediately close but not far to walk. Absolutely nothing Thank you. Nothing to not like. We had been warned that it was a building site still ( which probably showed in the excellent rates we received) but there was no noise at all before 6.30am, unlike our friends who were in the hotel across the road which had trains departing every half hour. No complaints at all. Nothing at all. Everything was just great. Check out is 10:00am with no flexibility of late check out. Bit expensive considering no breakfast. If only the spa was able to be enjoyed till later hours! Very sad to have missed out. I was however, unaware of the $200 upfront deposit, which came as a bit of a shock. I would not have minded a wider variety of tea. parking is a problem, as it is not in existence yet, and the location is great for taxied guests, but not for self drivers. My husband said he could hear the lift going up and down all night - this did wake him up several times. I have a tiny whinge about the pillows - they were too big too sleep on. Other than that - best hotel experience in a loooong time! Thanks!. Honestly can not think of anything. Nothing. No on site parking. The lift with the card control confused and frustrated quite a few people. The few staff is not particulary helping but never mind!. The only thing I feel I should mention is the water from the shower runs out onto the bathroom floor. You wouldn't know this unless you had a shower in the cubicle. Nothing that he and I did not like at all... he just said that he wants to stay there everytime he comes to Brisbane at the right price. Nothing.
