It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. The staff was very courteous and helpful no matter our requests. My friend and i accidentally locked our hotel room safe three times and the hotel manager came by repeatedly to unlock the safe, assuring us that it's okay despite our troubling him.
The amenities of the hotel was good, nothing spectacular but good enough.

Furthermore, the room was really clean, comfortable and roomy.

The location is perfect for visiting the town and for shopping. There is a good shopping centre just around the corner and the next streets of Callao and Santa Fe are good for quality shopping. The hotel is functional and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is a good place for resting after sightseeing, shopping or business metings.

This "hotel" seemed more a short-term apartment rental.

This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel. So convenient not only
because of the location but the apartments themselves are large and
comfortable. The staff always very helpful and the free breakfast
is great.My only complaint about this hotel would be that the rooms

At the adress there was no room available. However, I have been given one about 700 mtrs away in one of the best neighborhoods (Recoleta). The one room apartment with kitchenette was new and luxuriously equipped. - Very relaxing, clean, prompt service for our questions. This is a nice 5 star hotel on a quiet, beautiful street in Buenos Aires. The junior suite that I stayed in was large and comfortable. I enjoyed in particular a six course tasting menu, complete with wines, at the hotel restaurant, El Sud. -

The hotel is located in a quiet area very close to the subway and train stations. It is also within walking distance of the airport shuttle bus. The rooms are larger than expected. Breakfast was exceptional with a variety of hot and cold items, fresh fruits and juices and coffee. We ordered room service one evening. Food was excellent and price was much lower than any other hotel we've stayed at.
