  The rooms were large and clean. The bed was comfortable. One staff couldn't have been more helpful. &Quot;Mesh" made sure that all of our party were on the same floor in the more recently refurbished building and was there when we checked in. The view from the motel is beautiful but then again it is Asheville. The value the staff offered on the Biltmore 2-day package was the way to go! We extended our stay and the staff allowed at at the same rate...but forgot to OK our keys...no big deal. The staff also helped with a short cut into town. I give the staff hig grades

The free breakfast spread was impressive, complete with proteins, fibers, (real) orange juice, fruit, make-your-own-waffles, coffee, tea, baked goods, etc. The bathroom shows the building's age, but it doesn't matter to us.   Great location for me - a few minutes from both downtown and from UNC Asheville. The immediate area around the hotel was mostly high density commercial - chain restaurants, chain hotels, a shopping mall, etc. but since the hotel was set back a good distance from the main road it was still quite quiet. Everyone was friendly and there's coffee and cookies in the lobby 24 hours a day. Nice stay
