Great location for me - a few minutes from both downtown and from UNC Asheville. The immediate area around the hotel was mostly high density commercial - chain restaurants, chain hotels, a shopping mall, etc. but since the hotel was set back a good distance from the main road it was still quite quiet. The staff was very courteous and professional, check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The facility was recently renovated and very clean. My room had two queen beds and was quite roomy, with a.

We were on the end room beside the elevator and heard absolutely no one on a very busy weekend. Everyone was friendly and there's coffee and cookies in the lobby 24 hours a day. Nice stay. Reserved room for about $77; was charged $120+; didn't catch it until later. Not a good practice. slightly difficult to get to, but not a deal breaker. N/a. Bed is comfortable but mattress is on the soft side. Heated pool temp. could be raised up as well as hot tub. Staff was not friendly - wondering if they liked there job. Lots of wire hanging from ceiling in front of our door - told staff & they said it was for security they were setting up. Didn't seem concerned at all!!. Coffee pot was in the bathroom which is just nasty. No microwave. Not impressed with breakfast options. Bed was uncomfortable & hurt our backs. The pillows were not good at all. Way too flat. The light in my room was poor, difficult for reading in bed unless you're on the side next to the nightstand. The decor was cold, modernistic -- not what you'd expect for a "country inn.". Room has a distinct odor I noticed as soon as I walked in. AC too noisy.
