  We needed an overnight stopover near to Stirling on a Pitlochry to Ludlow journey. This was ideal-no nonsense-good value for money. The feature we liked best was the faultless detailed personalised letter at the property telling us everything logistic that we needed to know.related to our stay. The bed was a kingsize madfe of 2 single beds... hence an un comfortable bit in the middle...I hate that but otherwise everything else was fab. We loved also discovering all the different nooks and crannies of the public rooms. Delightful real fires in all public rooms including the dining room give a real country house feel.
