  A luxurious feel to the rooms, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was well kitted out and the bed was very comfortable. Just what you want for a couple of nights away. The view from the window, which looks out over a cricket pitch and Bath abbey, was beautiful, lovely for sitting eating and watching the world go by. I will be recommending this place to everyone! - The rooms were amazingly decorated and very spacious and clean. We had a ground floor room with a conservatory and our daughters were on the first floor. There was a small kitchen in each room which we only used for coffee/tea, but you could do some self catering. It was great having a car park and the walk into the town centre was a 5-10min stroll across the Pulteney Bridge. Would definitely stay here again on next visit to Bath.

  We absolutely loved The Old Smithy Loft and will be recommending it to friends and anyone else we can. It was very comfortable, very clean and just so welcoming, we wished we had stayed longer. Its also a beautiful walk into Bath city centre and not too far either we did take a taxi to the Thermae Spa (which is also lovely and relaxing and definit... was die leute sagen » ely to be recommended) but we walked in later. All in all The Old Smithy Loft is a great place to stay. - I liked everything about this location. The guest amenities were thoughtful, caring and very welcoming. The location is excellent, the flat was very warm and comfortable. The owners did everything in their power to leave us with nothing to want for. It was a home away from home and such a beautiful experience. I am grateful to the owners for making my stay a comfortable and memorable one. They truly care about their guests. I can't wait to go back.

  The accommodation was immaculate, good location very central, was a little noisy due to being in center of town. No car parking but car park only about 5 mins walk away cost £12 per day to park. Could not fault this accommdation. - it is in the center of town, easy to navigate through and around town. The staff was so excellent even in the event of an emergency at a local construction site the staff went above and beyond to help. nothing bad to say at all about our stay.

  Easy check in, very friendly and helpful receptionist. only stayed one night and arrived a little late due to getting lost in Bristol city centre. Receptionist arranged for the hotel bus to pick us up from hotel and take us to, bungalow restaurant, who she rang to say we were on our way to eat. Although the restaurant is a little way from the hote... was die leute sagen » l, the hotel bus takes you there and also brings you back. I believe this service will also take you to the airport. The room was clean and comfortabl - Decided at the last minute to stay at the Forge before early morning flight. Staff very friendly and efficient, accommodation small but very comfortable, as well as tea and coffee also included cereals in room for breakfast and mini fridge with milk! Taken by mini bus to their own pub free of charge and collected, all staff extremely cheerful and helpful. Would definitely recommend it. Could not be nearer to Bristol airport.

  We like the fact that as soon as we had parked the car and entered the Helyar Arms it had a warm welcoming feeling. The room was immaculate, romantic and had a very homely feeling.   The staff were all very nice and friendly. The hotel is very close to the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, which is why we chose it. My wife is an outpatient at this hospital, and disabled. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. Paul & Linda Garwood - The house has been newly renovated. We were the first people to stay in our room! Johan was very helpful, and explained things very well. The house is a bit of a maze and you needed a tour guide to find your room ;-) Private parking at the back of the house. There looked to be great views over the mendips, but we couldn't really get the full benefit due to pouring rain!

  Staff easily contacted and very friendly. The apartment was beautiful, decor was stunning and extremely clean throughout, with great facilities to use.   Lovely old house and garden, we were well served and treated. We got quite a good price for an establishment of this sort. Plenty of space. The next day we thought we would be able to luxuriate in the building but is was taken over by a visiting group so we had to find odd corners for ourselves. We had vacated our room by this time. I let on that our friends were having a belated silver wedding anniversary celebration and the staff provided a beautifully decorated plate of petit fours. It is also great to find a hotel that accepts newspaper vouchers.

  Great little flat - awkward to drive to in the dark, but owner very helpful. Supermarket close by for essentials, and set back from road, so quiet. - Was great to have the control of our time by renting a self contained flat. Was spacious enough for us and very clean and tidy.

  we were very impressed with the concept of the accommodation, and we enjoyed our stay very much but, I had a few issues with the accommodation which I left a list with the manageress/receptionist. There was a magnificent bath in the very spacious bathroom, as well as a very modern separate shower. we were very happy with the secure onsite parking. The apartment was self catering, but meals were available at the sister hotel next door where the service was excellent. Highly recommended.
