  This was a perfect break. The staff are such a friendly team and really go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed. The views out over the fells make you feel relaxed in the first 5 minutes.   This is what we call a really nice, comfortable hotel, one in which you feel at home. Everything was perfect, and the staff are so friendly and helpful! We were sad to leave! - The staff dealt very efficiently with our wishes and gave us a very nice stay in their lovely hotel. They tried very hard to make sure everything was perfect.

  Boot and shoe pub was a great overnight stay. The friendly owners and staff made you feel very welcome. The accomodation was very comfortable and the food was good. The atmosphere in the bar was great. It seems to be one of the pubs in UK that is doing well and providing a good service to it's customers.Even Tarzan likes the place. Great stay.   Bridleway is an excellent location from which to explore the Lake District National Park. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable and our hosts could not be more helpful.   My partner and I enjoyed our stay so much as we had never stayed in such a beautiful hotel before. It was just what we were looking for a bit of peace and quiet.
