  I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, wonderful choice and quality of breakfasts. The owner, told me he used to own a fish restaurant so that's obviously why the fish dishes are so perfect. Modern, bright up to date bedroom with a fabulous power shower. Safe and easy walk to both Windermere and Bowness. Food was unbelievable. Huge choice and excellent quality. Dining room is modern and there was a good atmosphere at breakfast time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our budget room was clean and cofortable. Perfect for our stay. Limited parking on the premises but lots of free and unrestricted parkining across the road.

  Everything was perfect. The staff, the food, the room everything was just perfect. Its also a great location just between windermere and bowness.   This is what we call a really nice, comfortable hotel, one in which you feel at home. Everything was perfect, and the staff are so friendly and helpful! It's close to everything at Waterhead and only a mile from Ambleside, with good bus service to everywhere in the Lake District.
