  Second time staying at this hotel, and again not disappointed, we requested the room we previously stayed in and got it. The room was lovely with a lovely view the bed was huge and bedding crisp white sheets. We went for a relaxing breaki and got it.   The room was large, clean and comfortable. The room faced inwards so we overlooked the glass roof of the pub but there was very little noise so I was happier than it overlooking the town square. The breakfast was good and the coffee was great. All the staff were really helpful especially when we were trying to find parking.   Very friendly staff! We dropped off our bags on the way to Highclere. When we returned the bags were in our room and we checked in quickly. Its a good idea to arrange with your taxi to come back to Highclere to pick you up. We had a great dinner and breakfast the next day at the White Hart.
