  We stayed at Cousin Resort initially for 2 nights, but then, having found the Krabi area a bit disappointing, drove over 120km back just to spend one more night there, before setting off for Phuket.   Where do I start with this hotel... Absolutely divine! Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds, beautiful food in restaurants, option of bars. In the middle of khoa lak centre. I absolutely loved it here. Fantastic place of you want to take children, there's a separate pool that can be used and an adult 'peace' pool that could not be used by children... was die leute sagen » . Stayed here for 3 nights and wished that we'd stayed longer! Most definitely a 5* resort and highly, highly recommended. Also had a follow up e-m - I was there for my sisters wedding & the resort was amazing! Great food/service, staff amazing, fabulous views, swim up bar great & pool for kids so great for your family. My son loved it there too! We stayed at the pool villas which I recommend highly if you have kids. I would definitely come back & am planning to stay at The Sands again.

  This is a really excellent resort. The staff are customer focused and the bungalows are great value for money. Big breakfast, every morning. Your choice of Thai and farang breakfast. You will need to rent a small motor bike to get around, but that’s all part of the fun. As a long term resident of Phuket, I went to Khao Lak for some peace and quiet and wasn’t disappointed. - Love the peace and tranquillity of this place. Second visit here and would come back again and again. Located in the quieter area of Bang Niang and only a short walk through emerald plaza to the shops and restaurants, taxi journey to the busier area of Nang Thong. Staff are very friendly and helpful with any enquiries. Breakfast was truly a feast and was an absolute joy. Wifi is also provide free of charge.
