  After spending a few nights in substandard hotels and hostels during our vacation in Peru, this hotel was a magnificent change of pace. The hotel itself is simply gorgeous, incorporating the original Inca and Spanish construction in the building.   This is a lovely hotel in the old part of Cusco, very accessible. Rooms were very comfortable. We stayed twice for two nights each, before and after doing the Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu. On our return we were delighted to find our stored luggage already in our new room and that we had been given a room with a bath. They also held our bags in between our two stays while we went up to Machu Picchu. Bags were waiting for us in our new room upon our return, much appreciated! The staff was most helpful in calling for taxis, even going out to the plaza to make sure I got in the right taxi.
