  Unfortunately we were not at the hotel long enough to fully enjoy this marvellous facility. It is definitely the place to stay if you are looking for upmarket accommodation. This hotel is located a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas, don't let this discourage you from staying here. Plaza de Armas could be a noisy place, especially on weekends, so if you're looking for a place where you can relax this is the place for you. Great place to relax after a day of exploring Cuzco.   Everything was superb at Palacio del Inka. First off, when we arrived the front desk upgraded us from our booked room to a Junior Suite which included a balcony on the courtyard. The hotel is stunning and the rooms just as much. The walls were beautifully hand-painted and had a great art collection. One of the main highlights was the spa facilities which were clean - After an incident with our laundry, the hotel management did everything to make up for the mistake. Our impression of the hotel and its staff and management was already very good before this incident but the highly professional and courteous way how our complaint was handled was simply amazing. The service mentality of the staff and management of this hotel is certainly world class and should be a benchmark for many other hotels which call themselves luxury hotels.

The hotel itself is simply gorgeous, incorporating the original Inca and Spanish construction in the building. On our last day they surprised my husband with a cake for his birthday without any prompting from me! He was thrilled. Also the staff at the front desk was so helpful with issues we had at out next hotel, they went above and beyond to help us out. A perfectly run establishment that should not be missed. Also the breakfast spread was wonderful.
