  The privacy, cleanliness, Scenery was lovely and central to everything. Loads of parking so we left the car there and walked around. The man at reception was very pleasent and friendly. - The proximity to the shore/shops/ferry/Waitangi museum/eateries etc. but far enough away from main traffic noise.

  We had a room which backed onto the Tennis court with a sitting out area which was great. My husband sat out there with a drink and was visited by a flock of friendly sparrow, two large rabbits, a family of quail, several gulls and two ducks who eventually followed him back into our room! The buffet supper was good value with a wide choice of food and as much as you could eat. - Great location just outside the main town being an easy and pleasant 10 minute walk along the beach front. Good size room with a deck and then nicely maintained gardens and lawns with a clear view across the bay towards Russell. Peaceful (but see the -ve). We found it good value for a clean, comfortable room with a nice view.

  We found the Ash Grove cabin we had to be the best accommodation we had on our visit to the Northern part of the North Island. Everything was absolutely perfect, which we failed to get at many other of the locations we visited.   We booked this hotel on the basis of the letsbookhotel.com reviews and weren't disappointed. All of the staff we encountered were just brilliant. Even the housekeeping staff we cornered to ask for more plunger coffee, nothing was too much trouble. Our room (the king loft) was perfect. Breakfast was a steal at $18 each and very yummy. (2) the room layout was the best we encountered in over 2 weeks travel in NZ. It had all of the things we needed, especially space, and none of the things (kitchen etc) we didn't need.

  I really enjoyed my stay at his place, and the location was an added bonus. I really look forward to booking with them in future and hopefully there will be availablilities the next time I want to book in.

  Nice Motel, friendly staff, a huge room with spa bath. The manager was extremely friendly, courteous and most helpful. The location of this Motel is great. Within easy walking distance to shops, rsa Club with the best meals and cheap as there! We enjoying staying here for 2 nights and the facilities were above our expectations. Top class - 10 out of 10 Dolphin Mote - loved the roominess of the apartment - ideal when travelling with a toddler who likes to run around. Also loved the separate bedrooms and full kitchen. Really loved being greeted with a free beer or softdrink, and free wifi. Also the added mile Paul went to pay our toll for us - saved us having to stop if the baby was asleep. Thank you Paul. Great location within easy walk to everything, and great recommendation about meals at the RSA.

  The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, with nothing being too much trouble. The unit we stayed in was extremely well presented with some really nice personal touches added. The kids absolutely loved our stay here and we were sad to leave. 3 single beds for the kids was a real bonus. Was also right across the road from Countdown (grocery shop) which was a big bonus. - Waiora Apartments was set in a lovely peaceful bush setting, lovely timber with lovely bed upstairs, clean and tidy. Downstairs was okay but only for sleeping really not a space you would want to have to stay in for a long time. I loved the calm and peaceful feeling of this place.

Very clean and tidy, good facilities, welcoming host. All good. Its near the treaty grounds in one direction and the shops/cafes in the other.   Good Location if you have a car, a bit far to walk to the town centre but was fantastic having a pool and trampoline for our son to play on and the spa was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we would love to stay again but we would stay on the bottom floor as you have easy access to the pool and the car park.
