  I've stayed at many highly rated hotels in San Antonio, and Mokara is unquestionably at the top of my list. It starts with superior service - over the top attention to detail. We were walked to the elevator during check-in by a member of the desk staff, and later - accompanied by a doorman down to the riverwalk level of the hotel as he provided us... 别人怎么说 » with food and drink suggestions.   I met a friend for a week away and we both loved the hotel and its staff. We especially liked the shuttle service for airport and local transport to dining spots and the access to down town and the area via the highways that were very close.   Most comfortable beds around. I love the location close to everything, the Riverwalk, the Mercado, and the Alamo within a short 10 minute walk, but outside and away from all the noise. Beautiful hotel with fantastic made to order breakfast and evening snacks. Very accomodating staff to help with every need. Although the hotel was busy there was room for everyone. Food constantly replenished and attentive staff.   Renovations were done recently and looked great. The room was great and clean with the wood looking floors, no carpet. Beds were comfortable. We had 2 rooms.   It was only for 1 night. It was supposed to be me and my boyfriend but he couldn't go so it ended up being a friend girl instead. The hotel is very nice. Bed was very comfortable. I didn't need to request anything so I had no contact with the staff besides check in/check out and that was very fast.
